The Surrey Heath Confederation of Schools is made up of 31 cross phase schools working together to map provision of extended services for families across the local area.
The new post of Family Support Worker has been identified in our Confederation Action Plan as being an opportunity to ensure co-ordinated provision for families is improved throughout the local area. The aim is to continue to raise aspirations and achievement levels by developing closer links between schools, students and their families, the local community and other service providers. The Confederation aims to develop existing multi-agency work and improve links with other community groups such as health, childcare and adult education.
